KDE Plasma release dates and downloads
KDE Plasma is a highly customizable desktop environment made by the KDE community, which turned 30 in October 2026. Like GNOME, you get Plasma through a distribution: Kubuntu, Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop and KDE neon ship it by default. Some versions, like Plasma 6.6, are long-term support releases.
